Quality Improvement

TFI Family Services works to assure that the quality of our services to families and children are the best we can offer. We are dedicated to providing services that will meet needs in a timely manner and in the best way that makes sense for families. Thus, our Quality Improvement Department oversees all quality assurance activities and quality improvement processes.

Improving Quality on a Daily Basis
The Quality Improvement Department conducts and facilitates internal reviews of program and administrative departments for all the companies in the TFI family. This allows for training and education of program and administrative staff on program outcomes and the continuous quality improvement process. Quality Improvement Staff manage and report on program improvement plans requested by internal program management and/or external service provider/regulatory agencies.

The Quality Improvement Department oversees and monitors the agency Child Placing Licenses, Daycare Licenses and agency affiliate agreements while conducting quality assurance reviews of service and placement providers. Quality Improvement Staff organize and assemble quarterly provider meetings inviting stakeholders to discuss contract issues, quality of services, and provide reports on agency compliance.

In addition, the department hosts and coordinates regulatory agency audits from Council on Accreditation, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Social and Rehabilitative Services, Kansas Health Solutions, ValueOptions, area Community Developmental Disability Organizations and other Child Welfare Community Based Service Providers.

We keep in mind that our mission is about enhancing the quality of life for youth and families; to achieve that we do all that we can to continuously improve the quality of all our services throughout our TFI family of companies.
