During
TFI Family Services' 41 year history, the employees have overcome many
obstacles and challenges in order to fulfill our mission to enhance the
quality of life for our youth and their families. Since the
implementation of the Public/Private Partnership of foster care services
in 1996, the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services
(SRS) and contracting agencies have experienced many evolutions. The
agency has been the Foster Care Reintegration Contractor for 21
Southeast and South Central Kansas counties for the past six years. TFI
Family Services has proved to be an agency that is visionary, adaptive,
and innovative in providing services to the children and families of the
State of Kansas. TFI continues to place the development of partnerships
as a priority with all stakeholders in the arena of child welfare. Working together is a basic common program model that ensures the
success for the children and families we serve as well as the financial
stability of the Agency.

Family Services strives to keep needs of the twenty three Kansas
communities we are office in first and foremost. These pro active
community relationships assist us in providing the needed services
for the children and families in their local home communities.
TFI
Family Services has experienced extraordinary growth over the past
year by expanding our contracting region to 25 additional Northeast
Kansas counties, providing Family Preservation contractual services
and by offering adoption services in all of our 46 contractual
counties. Our state wide family foster care base has soared to over
550 resource families strong. This is due to the dedication and
hard work of our TFI dedicated professional employee. Please review
