In addition to using staff, the Behavioral Health Department also utilizes independent contractors throughout the State of Kansas. We are always seeking BSRB licensed masters level social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists to join our team of independent contractors. As part of becoming an independent contractor with our agency, we will assist you in obtaining your National Provider Identification (NIP) Number, Kansas Medical Assistance Program (KMAP) provider number, as well as getting credentialed with Kansas Health Solutions. Independent Contractors decide how many referrals that they will accept, hours of services, and counties that they will serve.
