Behavioral Health Department
When a child or a parent is in crisis, it can put the entire family in crisis. Behavioral Health Departmental services are directed towards the needs of children, adults and families and are specifically designed to help them work together on solutions utilizing the strengths that the family already has. By doing this, it empowers the family towards meeting their goals and provides opportunities for the entire family to take ownership of the issues and solutions.
TFI Family Services' Behavioral Health Department encourages families to be active participants in their treatment process where they help determine their treatment intervention. The family's work schedule is taken into consideration so that when possible, TFI provides behavioral health services during evening and weekend hours. Appointments may also be available in the family home when clinically appropriate.
